Good food and conversation are two items that were on the schedule for
our annual picnic.
On July 28, 2006 NHOS member Marty Epstein welcomed our
membership to tour his private growing area. Like our previous Orchid
Caravans, this was another opportunity for us to see how other members grow
their orchids.
After the June 2006 meeting we had another of our popular
"Orchid Caravans". These organized road trips take us to places of
interest. The photo above shows one member's greenhouse which we were
invited to visit.
Our 2006 show 'A Winter
Wonderland of Orchids' was held on February 17 - 19 at
the Crowne Plaza in Nashua, NH. The photos above show just some of the beautiful orchids that
our members exhibited in the NHOS display. Member George
Newman took the 2006 trophy for Best
Pleurothallid (The David O. Moreton Memorial Trophy). George's beautiful
Masdevallia Copper Angel can be seen here complimenting the trophy he won.
