October 26 - 28, 2007 we participated in the Massachusetts
Orchid Society's annual orchid show. Here is a photo of our display that was
taken shortly after the judging had ended. The white cards were used to identify
each plant that was entered into the judging competition but were removed before
the show opened to the public.
Our 2007 picnic was hosted by member John Mattor. When not
enjoying the food or talking about orchids, we were able to wander around John's
beautifully landscaped yard.
NHOS President Les Regenbogen presented a special AOS Award
Certificate to member Joe Ballota at our April 2007 meeting. Joe received
special recognition from our membership for his photographs of members, plants,
meetings and events. For many years, Joe's photographs have captured the
true spirit of our society for the newsletter and this website.
Our 2007 show 'Journey to Paradise' was held on February 23 - 25 at
the Crowne Plaza in Nashua, NH. The photos above were taken during our
Preview Party and Awards Ceremony on Friday night. The Preview Party is always a
great way to enjoy our show and shop for orchids before we open on Saturday.
