Our Annual Picnic

August is always the month that we enjoy each other's company while we relax and enjoy our annual picnic.

Daryl and Carl have offered to host this year’s annual picnic and annual meeting at their home at 336 Mason Rd. in Milford New Hampshire beginning at noon. The society will provide drinks and meat for the grill. Please bring a chair and an appetizer, salad, side dish or dessert to share.

Please register to attend so that we have a head count and can plan accordingly.

There will be a show table so don’t forget your plants. This is also our annual meeting so we will be electing officers for the coming year.

Directions to Daryl and Carl’s house

336 Mason Rd, Milford NH

From Nashua, NH

Route 3 Exit 8 onto Somerset Pkwy (same exit as our orchid show)

Go to end turn right onto 101A/Amherst St

6.6 miles turn left onto route 101 West

(continue with Manchester/Bedford directions)

From Manchester/Bedford, NH

Route 101 West to Route 13/Milford exit

Bottom of ramp turn left onto route 13

Next intersection turn right at the light onto Armory Rd

At stop sign turn right onto Osgood Rd (passing in front of the Armory building)

Drive past the armory and immediately turn left onto Mason Rd

1.6 miles on left / Circular driveway / directly across from end of Whitten Rd

From west / Keene NH

Route 101 west to Milford

In Milford route 101 turns right at a light

Turn right again at next light onto Phelan Rd (next to VIP tires / Market Basket)

Follow that road past Market Basket up a small hill

Before next big hill turn left at fork onto Whitten Rd

Follow Whitten Rd all the way to the stop sign where it ends at Mason Rd

(When you get to the end you’ll be looking at our house directly in front of you)

From MA you can also take route 2 to route 13.

Follow route 13 north thru Fitchburg/Leominster/Townsend, MA and continue north to Milford, NH

Bottom of hill after Chappell Tractor turn left onto Armory Rd

At stop sign turn right onto Osgood Rd (passing in front of the Armory building)

Drive past the armory and immediately turn left onto Mason Rd

1.6 miles on left / Circular driveway / directly across from end of Whitten Rd
