I have fallen for Vandas. They are a lot of work but the payoff is spectacular. This is V.Sasicha (Vanda Varut Fuchsia x Rhynchostylis coelestis). It is more purple then my camera reads.  It has another spike coming along. I will cut the current spike soon so the plant can concentrate on the new one. My vandas get fertilized full strength weekly and watered once or twice a day, depending on Mother Nature & the heat.
