Monthly Meeting - Registering Plants and Creating an Exhibit
With the CAIOS orchid show only a week away and our annual show a month away we will use this meeting to show our members how to create an award winning exhibit and how to register their orchids for judging.
NHOS member and AOS Certified Judge Jean Stefanik will show us examples of orchid show awarded AOS displays from all over... and talk about the key components of a well-designed exhibit.
We will then explain how to register your orchids for display and discuss some of the tools to use when it's unclear what category to use when registering those unusual genera.
We encourage members to exhibit your blooming plants and to help us with display set up at these and many other upcoming shows. We hope this meeting will give you the confidence and knowledge needed to help us create our own award-winning displays in the future.
Please have your plants on the show table by 11 a.m.
Lunch is potluck so please bring a dish to share.
