Monthly Meeting - What Is A Beth Plant: Welcome to the Weird, Wacky, World of Orchids
Beth Davis from Waldor Orchids will be our guest speaker. If you spent any time in the greenhouses at Waldor Orchids, you might hear the phrase "that is a Beth plant". Beth Davis will talk about “What is a Beth Plant?”
We will take a world tour as “Beth Plants” include the following families: Bulbophyllum, from Africa, Asia, and Latin America; Stanhopea, from Central and South America; and Dendrochilum from Southeast Asia.
Preorders are available for orchids and/or supplies. Order directly with Beth and she will bring your order to the meeting. PLEASE DO NOT ORDER ON THE WEBSITE. The website at www.waldor.com has a partial selection of available plants so please contact Beth with anything you are looking for and it may just be available. If there is a plant on your wish list, just email Beth at linwoodorchid@gmail.com to see if she has it.
Please have your plants on the show table by 11 a.m.
Lunch is potluck so please consider bringing a dish to share.
